Refund Policy
Last Updated: February 2026
We want you to be satisfied with Mindload. However, because our application incurs hard computing and API costs with third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) every time you ask a question, our refund policy is designed to prevent abuse while ensuring fairness.
1. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your Mindload subscription, you may request a full refund within seven (7) days of your initial purchase, provided that you meet the following condition:
- Fair Use Limit: You have used less than 50 AI queries on your paid plan during those 7 days.
Because we pay for every AI query generated, we cannot offer refunds to users who have heavily utilized the service and consumed significant API credits before canceling.
2. Renewals and Cancellations
- Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or via the link provided in your subscription confirmation email.
- No Prorated Refunds: If you cancel your subscription after the 7-day window, or if you cancel an auto-renewal, your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months of use. You will retain access to your paid tier features until the billing period ends.
3. Technical Issues
If the application is fundamentally failing to work on your macOS device (e.g., constant crashing, inability to index any files) and our support team cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, we may grant an exception to the 7-day or usage-limit policy at our sole discretion.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com, through your receipt email, or email us directly at support@mindload.ai with the email address used for purchase.
Refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.
